The track went down a storm during Carmy’s live performances as part of the Big AC Records Soul revue tour in late 2022 and was then premiered on Craig Charles’ 2023 preview show in January.
With its relentless groove led by upright bass and percussion, ‘I Just Came To Dance’ has elements of soul & early R&B, with Andrew Ross’ virtuosic flute solo also giving the track a jazz-dance feel. Record collectors will no doubt be queuing up for the limited edition 45, which also includes a Nu-Disco Remix from Smoove!
